I didn't know Pam all that well, but I do have a fond memory of her.
If my memory serves me correctly, I was sitting at my desk in before school started when Pam sort of snuck up on me. She gave me a little, innocent kiss on the cheek and ran back to her desk giggling. I don't know if it was a dare, or what, but it was nice. Yes, as a very shy and backward 7th grader, I was embarrassed ...but I liked it!

The obituary I have for Pam from the Telegraph, says that she died at age 49, Sunday June 9, 2002, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis."A daughter of Elvis L. and Betty L (Nichols) Tarrant of Godfrey, she was born Oct. 13, 1952, in Alton.
"She married Jerry L. Sandberg on June 22, 1996, in East Alton. He survives.
"She was a homemaker.
"In addition to her husband and parents, surviving are two stepdaughters...two step-granddaughters...two sisters,...a nephew...and two nieces...."
