ALTON - David Lee Reams, 64, was born February 16, 1952, in Alton, Illinois. He was the son of Arthur and Zepora (Dixon) Reams. He was a graduate of Alton Senior High School in 1971 and Lewis & Clark College receiving a degree in Criminal Justice. He was employed as a jailer with Madison County Sheriff Department..

David was a member of Living Stone Church, he enjoyed working out, board games, ESPN Sports and volunteering within the community.

He is survived by four brothers, James (Janet) Reams, Al and (Mary) Reams, Leon (Sandra) Reams, Terry (Dana) Reams; four sisters, Lola (Lovie) Reams, JoAnn Reams Marshall, Linda Reams Wheeler, and Jonnie Mae Reams; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Zepora Reams.

Memorial Service Tuesday Aug. 9, 2016, at Living Stone Church 726 Henry Street Alton. Pastor Cletus Gribble Eulogist.

Cremation rites will be accorded.
