"ALTON - Gwendolyn Holliday, 46, died at 12:39 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, at Wood River Township Hospital.
"Born Feb. 21, 1952, in Alton, she was a daughter of Stanley Holliday and Mattie (Rogers) Holliday, both of Alton.
"She was a member of Buckmaster Church of Christ in Alton.
"Surviving are four daughters, Deidre, Tony, Stephanie and Crystal, all of Alton; a son Peyton Walker of Alton; five sisters, Lorrien Hamilton, Patricia Everage, Anita Holliday, Susan Casey and Jackie Holliday, all of Alton; Two brothers, Bentley Berry and John Holliday both of Alton; a special friend, Albert Searles of Alton.
"She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Holliday Jr. and Darrell Holliday, and three grandchildren, Brittany, Malaya and Randy.
"Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Williams Mortuary in Alton.
"Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Redden, pastor of Buckmaster Church of Christ, officiating.
"Burial will be in Upper Alton Cemetery."
