Donna Jean Tarrant Lamberson, 71, of New London, MO passed away at 9:04 AM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at her home.
The family will host a visitation that will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM at the Hull United Methodist Church in Hull, IL.
Friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Hull Community Center, Hull Il.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.
Donna was born January 11, 1952, in Fosterburg, IL to Eslie Tarrant and Ocia Doris Tarrant.
She was married to Kem Lamberson. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2022.
Donna was also preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Darrell Jones; and three brothers, Robert Tarrant, Larry Tarrant, and William Tarrant.
Survivors include her three children, Tara Hausman of New London, MO, Kathy Kearby of Hartford, IL, and Dayle Jones of Erin, TN; nine grandchildren, Tyler Kanz (Lyndsey), Triston Rueb, Ashton Hausman, Joshua Hausman, Jaydon Hausman, Austin Jones, Kenneth Wayne Kearby, Kyle Kearby, Kevin Kearby, and Kami Kearby; one great grandson, Easton Kearby; and "sister", Linda Daniels.
Professionally, Donna was a beautician. She later worked as the bakery manager at Walmart.
Donna enjoyed cooking, baking, and being outdoors in her garden. She loved to shop, especially at Walmart and Sams. Watching "The Voice", listening to music, and looking for the best bargain at yard sales and antique shops were a few of Donna's favorites. Most of all, Donna loved and cherished her church, her family, and her grandchildren.
Donna was a member and attended New Hope Country Church in Hull, IL.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kris Kanz, Tyler Kanz, Robert Tarrant, Tristan Rueb, Kenneth Wayne Kearby, Jaydon Hausman, Ashton Hausman, and Josh Hausman.
