After graduation, I attended Illinois State University where I finished one year and was forced to leave school for health reasons. (crohn's disease). I married my childhood sweetheart in 1975, worked at Hayner Children's Library for many years. I'm now on disability and enjoy my retired hubby, my 23 grandkids and 2 birds and my cat "Timmi". Life is grand!

School Story:

I started kindergarten at Irving school, went to Lincoln school from first thru fifth, sixth grade at Douglas, West Jr. and finally Alton High. I have many great memories from all of them.

I am so sorry to hear about Eunice's passing. I admired Eunice as a kind & gentle person. She was as beautiful & classy inside as she was on the outside. Though this world has lost; heaven has gained a wonderful lady!
