The Telegraph obituary says:

"Richard Louis Grenzebach, 48, died at 3:57 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at Carlinville Area Hospital.

"Born Nov. 12, 1952, in Alton, he was a son of the late Homer W. Grenzebach and June J. (Phillips) Grenzebach.

"A graduate of Alton High School with the Class of 1970, he attended Lewis and Clark Community College two years and received a machinist apprenticeship in 1975. He was employed as a tool and dye machinist for Olin Corp. in East Alton for 15 years and was a member of Machinist Local No. 660. He loved hunting, traveling and barbecuing; and was a loving father and husband.

"He married the former Brenda Hunt Dec. 16, 1989, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, in Carlinville. She survives.

"Also surviving are two sons, Joshua Kenneth Grenzebach and Kyle Dustin Grenzebach, both of Godfrey and their mother, Kathy (Stalhut) Grenzebach of Godfrey; a brother, Bruce E. Grenzebach of Brighton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sandra L Bailey of Alton and Linda R. and Robert Cooper of Peoria; his mother and father-in-law, Don and Margaret Hunt; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Jamie Hunt; and his son's godparents, Mike and Kathy Byrd.
