Therese J Walkington Ditto

I attended Milton School, East Jr. and Alton High. I obtained my Associates degree from Lewis and Clark (1976), my LPN from F.W. Olin (1977), my BSN (1983) and MSN (1993) from SIUE and my PhD from Capella University online.
I was married to my first husband for 23 years and divorced in 1996. Met Bruce and married him in 1997. Lived in New Delhi, Il for several years but primarily have remained in the Godfrey-Alton area. I have been teaching nursing for 17 years in the St. Louis. I spent the last 8 years in Florida as a Dean of Nursing for severaI different schools. I am now retired from nursing and living in Brussels, Il. near my children and grandchildren.

Favorite school story has to be the JJG's going out one evening and jumping into all the fountains around Alton. We got caught by my uncle Stan the police officer! Patty Russo and a bunch of us also climbed over the fence at the pool at Summers Sport and went swimming one evening. Another story is when there were several of us girls in the Home-ec class at East,we were singing the music scales and Mr. Evans the counselor across the hall called us into his office and made us call our moms. Appparenetly he didn't like our voices!
