Hi to Class of 1970
Just wanted to say hi to all of you. It sure has been a long time since the last time we met. Thought you would like to hear what has been going on in my life. I retired from IBM in February 2007 after 30 years of service, almost three years now. I have been keeping busy with my hobbies (too-many). Foremost on the hobby list, are my grand kids, Amateur Radio, electronics, bicycling, and machining projects. As you can see from the picture that I posted, my latest project, a recumbent tadpole bike that I hand built from surplus metal and bike parts. I also work at a bicycle shop two days a week. Gail (Wilson - Class of 69) and I have been married for 38 years. We enjoy traveling and camping in our fifth wheel. Hope to see you at the reunion.
Jack

Happy birthday---its great that there are mechanically inclined people like you to take of the bicycles of the mechanically incompetent like me. You have had a very interesting life in stages. A friend of ,mine from Geneva, IL applied for the executive director of the national ham radio -- association---obviously my friend Mo still lives here after he did not get the job.

I am so sad to hear about John's passing. I knew John from the third grade on. We were in Sunday School together. His Grand Mother Leona Wood was our Sunday School teacher. John lived most of his school life with his grand parents, Orri and Leona Wood. His grand parents live close to us off of Milton road and I would go over and visit. John lost his baby sister in a accident when we were in junior high and I was one of the pallbearers. I will never forget that. After high school, he worked in a coop program with GM and I was going to SIU. He got me a job working at Fisher Body on the assembly line before it change to GMAC and I had to go to the service. We lost touch later on in life but I sure have a lot of good memories.
