MARY NELL CONREUX

BRIGHTON — Mary Nell Conreux, 65, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at her home in Brighton.

Born March 3, 1952, in Wood River, she was the daughter of Cecil and Wanda (Cox) Wenzel.

On Aug. 18, 1972, she married Dale S. Conreux in Alton. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 2010.

Surviving are two brothers, Ronald Wenzel of Lufkin, Texas, Doug (Kathy) Wenzel of Alton, two sisters, Mindy (Randy) Barthol of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Cecilia "Sis" (Doug) Plopper of Lufkin, Texas. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and loving friends.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Remington.

Visitation will be from 5 until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Private burial will be held at Upper Alton Cemetery.
