Well it's been a long and wonderful ride so far. Spent 6 years in the Navy, 4 of them on active duty...Was a trained Combat Medic...Spent almost 2 years serving with the Marine Corps at that time..
Started Nursing school in 1976...graduated 1978. Have been a Nurse for 38 years now. Worked in a variety of areas, ICU, Orthopedics, Surgery, Long Term Care, Home Health, and now Hemodialysis....I worked as a travel nurse, and must say I love it...Been to Gillette, Wyoming-Nagcodoches,Tx, and now Siler City, NC.

Moved to Southwest Missouri in 1989 and have been there ever since....In my spare time I paint, weld, golf, camp, fish, spend time with the grandkids. At christmas I dress up as Santa for the grandkids

Retired in September 2014 after 36 years in Nursing.
Well ya know as time goes by things change. In August of 2015 my bride and I of 24 years decided to end our union. So here I am at 64 pursuing the single life.

Been a few developments this last few years. My son has been elected as Mayor of the town we live in.
I got to see and visit with Mark Wannamaker who I've not seen since we graduated from high school. He and his wife are thinking of moving somewhere do here in Southwest Missouri
Went to the 45 years reunion, was great seeing all the old gang

St Matthews Elementary School
East Junior High
Alton High
Lewis & Clark Community College
School of hard Knocks

School Story:

I mainly remember standing outside the Main building before school with Jim Mcdonald, Glen Valen, Randy Cook, Mike Rae, and several junior class men who's names currently escape me,(Oh a minds a terrible thing to waste, Ah heck let's blame it on Agent Orange!!!)
Playing on the football team taught me the meaning of team work and fit with my military time very well...There were many good friends on the team and we always tried our best....Oh, by the way, and one remember who Animal is? You know who you are!!!!
Well may everyone be bless and safe, till we are able once again to spend some cherished time together...
Does everyone remember Mr. Bruno? How about Nan Paletz? And of course Laura Bassett. Mr Hiedbrink, Ron Kelly, Mr Jurese, Mr Matthews, Cha Cha Bryant, Harry Prestly, just to name a few...
