This is a photo of Glenn and his mother Ruth Valin by the side door of Grace Methodist Church on Henry St. in Alton, Illinois. My sister and I usually saw them every year at the Church rummage sale. The date I downloaded the photo to my computer was October 12, 2008 so I guess that it was taken not too long before then.
Glenn and I were childhood friends. We both attended Grace Methodist Church thru high school. We attended Humbolt. I left after 1st grade as we moved. His mom and mine were friends. I even have a picture of Glenn and I in our Easter suits standing on the same steps that he and his mom were standing one. I believe Glenn passed in 2014. There was no obituary or public service. The funeral was held at Grace. Burrial, I dont know. He had diabetis type 2 nd it got the best of him. He loved cars. Had an old beat up 57 belair while in high schoool. He worked for sears automotive for quite sometime.
