Married Gloria Watson (from Grafton, Jerseyville class of 1971) in 1974. We have two children...Ben is an Alton firefighter/paramedic, married to Erin (Kessinger) in 2003. They have four children, Elijah born in 2006, Alexis born in 2008, Liam born in 2011 and Sabra born in 2013.
Sarah married Jeff Yates in 1998. They currently live outside of Troy, Mo. and have 5 children...Chris, born in 1997, Caleb, born in 2000 and Tyler, born in 2002. In May of 2018 they adopted sisters Peggy, age 16 and Kaylyn, age 15.
I retired in March 2009 from the ConocoPhillips Refinery (formerly Shell) after nearly 30 years. Gloria retired in May 2014 after 29 years working at Alton High.
Gloria and I purchased a winter home in Okeechobee, FL in 2018. We enjoy the warm weather and I can pursue my present hobby of shooting sporting clays. There are several gun clubs in the Okeechobee area and some large tournaments throughout the winter.
