John Nasello

BETHALTO — John William Nasello, 63, died at 3:05 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. Anthony's Hospital.

Born March 30, 1952, in Wood River, he was the son of Mary (Fry) Nasello of Jerseyville and the late Peter "Pete" Nasello.

Mr. Nasello was a fan of the Cubs and Notre Dame. He enjoyed camping and traveling and attended First Baptist Church in Bethalto.

In 2013 he retired as a programmer/analyst for Bank of America after over 20 years of service.

On June 21, 1975, he married the former Jean Nelson. She survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Micki Nasello of Roxana, two sons, Johnny Nasello (Ali Choi) of Chaing Mai, Thailand, and Adam Nasello of Bethalto, three grandchildren, Kimberly, Gracie and Halle Davis all of Roxana. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Sandy Walker (Mike) of Bethalto, Dave Nasello (Annie) of Alton, Jimmy Nasello (Vicki) of Godfrey, Pete Nasello (Venessa) of Alton, Debbie Dixon (Brett) of Bethalto, Richard Nasello of Alton, and Mark Nasello (Joyce) of Wood River, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at noon Thursday, February 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Bethalto. Reverend Chip Faulkner will officiate. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Jean Nasello.
