"Born July 27, 1952, in Parsons, Kan., he was the son of the late George S. and Jacqualine (Minton) Mills.
"He worked at Medco Ambulance Service in Wood River and had worked at The Telegraph in Alton.
"Surviving are three brothers, Bill Mills of Parsons, Kan., John Mills of Wood River and Donald Mills of Brighton; and four sisters, Linda Mills of Godfrey, Debbie Simpson of Florissant, Mo., Julie Umiker of Plant City, Fla., and Georgia Shrimpton of Alton.
"The body was cremated.
"A memorial service will be held in Parsons.
"Memorials may be made to the United Way of Alton.
"Marks Mortuary of Wood River is in charge of arrangements."
