The obituary in the Telegraph says: Mary Ann Richey "ALTON - Mary Ann Richey left the ones she loved to be with God Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, after a brief illness. "She was born Sept. 23, 1952, in Alton, the daughter of Joseph James and Esther (Hand) Losch Sr. "She attended Monticello College and Lewis and Clark Community College and was a teacher's assistant in the early childhood program for the Alton School District. "She was a member of the Alton Children's Theater from 1984 to 1992. She also served on the board of Summersport Inc. "She married Timothy E. Richey Sept. 1, 1973, in Alton. He survives. "Also surviving are two daughters, Tiffany Elaina and Jill Marie Richey of Alton; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Joseph and Jo Ellyn Losch Jr., Michael and Frank Losch, all of Alton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Penny Jo Bodine and Susan and Dick Butler; nieces and nephews Traci and Pete Peterson, Flea Bodine, Andy and Tammy Butler, Libby, Katie and Alex Butler, Corey and Allyson Losch, Jason Cunningham, and Jennifer and Helen Losch; great-nieces and nephews Kelly and Joey Butler. "It was her request that no flowers be sent. "A memorial Mass will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Alton. "Memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Catholic Church or the Holy Childhood Association through St. Matthew's Church, 1015 Milton Road, Alton, IL 62002. "Staten Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements."
