"He was born in Alton, Aug. 24, 1951, and attended the Alton grade schools. He was formerly employed at the Tri City Grocery Store in North Alton. A member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, he was affiliated with the Catholic Youth Organization and the Retail Clerk Union.
"Survivors include his parents, Olin and Marlene Gray of 856 Chouteau; three brothers, David, Jeffrey and Jim, all at home; and a sister, Debbie at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Taul of Alton; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Reath Gray of Alton.
"Visitation at Staten Funeral Chapel will be from 7 until 10 p.m. Saturday and from 2 until 10 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
"A Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, with committal following in Valhalla Memorial Park."
