The obituary in the Telegraph says:

"Isaac J. Generally, 54, former Alton resident, died Nov. 10, 2006, in College Park, Md.

"Born in Alton on Oct. 15, 1952, he was a son of Isaac L. and Dorothy (Keene) Generally.

"His wife, the former Linda Brown, survives.

"He enlisted in the Navy on Jan. 11, 1980, and served proudly and with distinction for more than 26 years. His early career was highlighted by outstanding service as a sonar technician and leading petty officer on board several nuclear attack submarines. Recent highlights of his permanent career included services as chief of the boat of the nuclear fast attack submarine USS Charlotte, assignment as the command master chief of submarine development squadron 5 in Silverdale, Wash., and following his selection to and commissioning as chief warrant officer, he served as officer in charge of the advanced seal delivery system training detachment. His personal awards included the Meritorious Service Medal, three awards of the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal and four Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Meritorious Commendation and Battle Efficiency Ribbon. He qualified to wear the enlisted submarine warfare pin and the Deep Submergence Program Pin.

"In addition to his wife of 25 years, surviving are their son, Stefan, serving with the U. S. Army in Germany; three sons from a previous marriage, Devon Generally of Chicago, Deron Generally of Long Beach, Calif., and Dana Generally of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Beverly Walker of Lebanon, Ill., and Daudra Generally of Monroe, La.

"He was preceded in death by his parents.

"Memorial services were held on Nov. 20, 2006, at Fort Myer Memorial Chapel in Fort Myer, Va.

"Chambers Funeral Home and Cremation of Riverdale, Md., was in charge of arrangements. "
