ANDREA'S OBITUARY

Andrea Denise Campbell was born in Alton, Illinois on March 12, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Elmo and Cora M. (Johnson) Campbell.
Denise was educated in the Alton Public School System, later earning her GED at the age of fifty, of which she was very proud, from Lewis &
Clark Community College; she also enrolled in several college courses. She was a firm believer that it was never too late to start something
new.
Over the years she worked in many different occupations, but her passion was working in Home Health Care. In her later years, she was
employed by Alton School Dist. 11 as a teacher’s aide before retiring. As a child, Denise attended Belle St. Church of God in Christ and then
Morning Star Baptist Church, where she was baptized and discovered her passion for singing as a choir member. She occasionally attended
Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. She was in fellowship at her home church, Monroe Memorial Church at the time of her passing.
She will be missed by many, not only for her culinary skills, but also for her gift of hospitality. She never met a stranger.
