"He was employed at Noritsu America for 12 years. He will be remembered as an outdoorsman who enjoyed barbecuing for his family and friends, hunting and fishing. He listened to the music of the '60s and '70s and was an amateur computer wizard.
"Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Joy L. Brake, and his children, David A. and Jennifer L. Brake, all of Euless, [Texas]; his parents, Charles and Patty Brake, and grandmother Helen Ohley, all of Alton; three brothers and their spouses, Bill Brake of Waldorf, Mass., Edward Brake and his wife, Mary, of Godfrey, and John Brake and his wife, Mindy, of Alton; a sister, Donna Bizaillion, and her husband, Danny, of Harden; and many other loving family members.
"Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until services at 7:30 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst, Texas.
"Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery.
"In memory of Charles Allan Brake, memorial contributions may be made to benefit his children to Bank One, 1010 W. Euless Blvd., Euless, TX 76040."
