We each have amazing, fun, thrilling and some not-so-fun memories of our high school and junior high days.
Outside of our family, we shared those days with some pretty important people in our lives; people that made a difference in our live's then...and now. Some of us have stayed in touch, some of us have re-connected with old friends and then...there are some of us that say, "If I haven't spoken to them in 50 years, why now?"
Why now? BECAUSE, that's why! (I hear my mother scything that now)
Really, it may have been 50 years since we last spoke, but that doesn't make us any less important to each other and in each other's live's. We each altered the other's life. So, because we were so significant at one time...let's do it again!
As I look through my Tatler I remember so much of my high school years. The past is not where I live, but it is a place of comfort and joy that I like to visit now and then. What I enjoy more is seeing each person that was significant in my life then, today. Again, not to relive yesterday, but to enjoy more of today, with you in it.
Yes, life happens, but the ties that bind us are still there.
We might not text, or call or even think about each other everyday, but that doesn't keep you from my prayers.
So please...will you meet me July 31st and August 1st in Alton; for old times sake? ❤️ Diana
